Allowah Presbyterian Children's Hospital provides quality care and support to children with disabilities as well as to their families.
At all times we will strive to achieve excellence in medical and care practices.
We also commit ourselves to treating our clientele with respect and dignity, and providing them with emotional and spiritual support within a Christian environment which maximises their quality of life.

As a facility owned by the Presbyterian Church of NSW (PCNSW), we have the following purpose, vision and values.

Eligibility Criteria
- Children and young people who have a moderate to severe developmental disability and complex health needs who require a multi- disciplinary model of care are considered for admission to Allowah Presbyterian Children's Hospital, under the medical, allied health and specialised nursing team. Our model is family focused and includes the support and expertise of Family Worker and Recreation staff who are part of the holistic model of care.
- The children who are admitted to Allowah Presbyterian Children's Hospital are children who are semi to non ambulant, and require a high level of nursing care for their daily needs.
- All suitable children are admitted under the care of the admitting doctor. No referral is required.
- Age range is birth to 18 years of age.
- Children should have current top hospital private health care cover with a health fund for a minimum of 12 months prior to admission.
- Patients are accepted who have special funding guaranteed.
- A Header Agreement with The Department of Human Services exists and acts as a guideline for other independent admissions
- The admitting Doctor may consider admitting children for specific programmes or for post operative recovery, depending on the suitability of the facility and current cohort of patients.
