The Role

We are on the lookout for an efficient Kitchen Hand to join our passionate team. Immediate start available.

Location: Allowah, Dundas Valley

Employment Type: Permanent Part-time, 3 days per week. The hours of work will be 6am-1pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Remuneration: $27.15/hour + salary packaging

Here, you’ll have the opportunity to:
  • Prepare and deliver nutritious and attractive meals to the clients.
  • Ensure the kitchen is maintained in accordance with HACCP standards.
  • Adhere to the general principles of food preparation and hygienic cleaning practices.
  • Report any issues relating to repairs or machine and equipment breakdown.
  • Ensure all clients, visitors and staff are treated in a courteous manner.
  • Observe Infection Control Policy and Procedures.

Essential Criteria:

  • Certificate II in Health Support Services or equivalent

If successful, you will need to obtain:

  • Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Workers Check
  • Police Check

Allowah is recruiting a seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Officer to join our team. Immediate start available and full training provided.

Location: Allowah, Dundas Valley.

Employment Type: Permanent Part-time, 2 days per week. The hours of work will be 7am-3:30pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Remuneration: $32.68/hour + salary packaging options available.

Duties:
  • Undertake general maintenance officer duties including but not limited to painting, fixing blinds, doors and lightbulbs within current regulations and standards.
  • Repair equipment such as chairs, tables, gates, beds, windows and cupboards.
  • Do minor plumbing and gardening works.
  • Stack and sort deliveries.
  • Steam clean, pressure wash and tidy the facility grounds.
  • Prioritise safety.
  • Coordinate and communicate with contractors.
  • Maintain proper electronic record keeping of maintenance orders.

 

Essential Criteria:
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Facilities Maintenance
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence
  • Working at Heights Certificate

  • Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Workers Check
  • Police Check
