The Role

We are looking for motivated and passionate Registered Nurses to join our friendly team!

Location: Allowah, Dundas Valley
Employment Type: Full-Time (38 hours per week on a rotating roster)
Remuneration: $33.51- $41.95 per hour, dependent on experience (Registered Nurse Level 1 Above Award, Nurses Award 2020).
Hours of Work: 38 hours per week on a rotating roster.
 
Here, you’ll have the opportunity to:
  • Deliver professional competent care to clients
  • Provide information and education to enable people to make decisions
  • Supervise and when appropriate delegate care to EN’s, AIN’s, student nurses and other healthcare workers
  • Develop, review and maintain nursing care plans and other health records
  • Monitor and evaluate nursing care provided
  • Identify areas of care for escalation to meet the changing needs of clients
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Collect and report on the clinical information of clients
  • Document all care according to policy
  • Participate in regular handovers
  • Liaise with parents and carers where necessary
  • Report incidents and hazards

Essential Criteria:

If successful, you will need to obtain the following prior to commencement:

  • Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (APHRA) as a Registered Nurse
  • Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Workers Check
  • Police Check
  • DCJ Check
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate

 

Desirable Criteria
  • Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute or disability care setting
  • Experience working with children and young adults with complex medical needs and/or chronic illness.
