Able to work as an individual and part of the larger team?
Our supportive allied health team needs a passionate and dynamic physiotherapist who has initiative and drive to bring about change for children. The Physiotherapist will work within the private hospital setting providing both inpatient services and therapy in the community, using NDIS funding. This position is for 3-4 days a week. Contractors are welcome to apply.
Therapy services are family-centred and goals are set by parents. Our organisation strongly values families and cultural diversity.
New graduates who are interested in paediatric settings in the disability sector are welcome to apply. Supervision and training can be provided, depending on level of experience.

Disability Support Workers – multiple roles, day, night, weekend, permanent and casual
Location: Allowah – Dundas Valley, Sydney
Are you a therapy, teaching, psychology, nursing, social work, disability support worker student or someone with experience in working with children or in the area of disability? Or would you like to gain experience?
We have fun weekend, evening and school holiday activity programs at Allowah where children with varied abilities come to socialise with their peers, have some fun and build skills. We also provide accommodation services and need support workers to work as part of our care teams.
We support children with disabilities including cerebral palsy, ASD, intellectual disability, epilepsy, and behaviours of concern. We aim to give them an opportunity to develop their skills in relating to peers, participating in recreational activities of interest to the child and practising independence activities. The focus of our work is fun for the individual child provided in an environment where they can use/ learn communication skills for developing friendships.
You will need to have a valid Working with Children Check and an NDIS Worker Clearance prior to starting work.

Allowah offers quality allied health therapies to children and teenagers with complex disabilities and medical needs – both as hospital in-patients and as NDIS clients using Allowah Disability Support Services. We have a growing demand for delivery of NDIS supports within the community and at Allowah.
Our allied health team aims to include: physiotherapy, speech pathology, dietetics, occupational therapy and behavioural support.
