Does your child like to explore the stars? Maybe go on a safari? Or perhaps superheros are more their style?
Whatever they love you are sure to find it at Allowah’s Weekend Program?
Allowah’s Weekend Program is a great way for kids to spend time doing a range of fun activities in a safe and caring environment. We have a team of experienced Support Workers who work with children with a range of disabilities. And for kids with complex disabilities and medical needs we have clinical staff on-site to lend a hand in need.
Kids are engaged with activities that are fun and interactive, growing experiences and life skills in a way that they enjoy. Storytelling, craft, cooking, outdoor adventures, games, singing… and lots of laughter. Children can come for the day or come and stay for the weekend. The Weekend Program and accommodation can be funded via NDIS.
We have adapted our program to run in a way that allows the fun to continue whilst following the latest COVID-safe health advice.
Allowah’s Weekend Program is open to all children with moderate to severe disabilities. Children with complex medical needs are most welcome. The program may not suit all children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, but please have a chat with us so we can see what might work.
Allowah is a Dharug word which can be translated as ‘Come, sit here with me.’
We are situated on land with which the Burramattagal people of the Dharug nation have an enduring and deep connection.
They have been custodians of this land for innumerable generations. We pay our respect to their people and elders, past, present, and emerging.
