We are on the lookout for a motivated and client-focused Senior Occupational Therapist to join our friendly team on a part-time basis.
You will have the opportunities to:
Help shape and grow our Occupational Therapy service focused on children and young adults with disability
Provide family and person-centred clinical care to clients and their families/carers
Manage interventions for novel or complex occupational therapy tasks
Implement, monitor and evaluate therapy plans, protocols and standards to ensure best practice
Supervise occupational therapists, allied health assistants and students
Engage in professional development
Provide flexible service locations to suit clients- on-site at Allowah or in the community.

Are you a therapy, teaching, psychology, nursing, social work, disability support worker student or someone with experience in working with children or in the area of disability? Or would you like to gain experience?
As a Support Worker, you will provide disability supports including NDIS and in-house support within Allowah including daily care, School Holiday programs, weekend programs, events and other community access activities. You will support the Coordinator/ Manager with community access, visitor engagement and events. You will support clients to achieve their goals, enjoy life, make friends and thrive.

Allowah offers quality allied health therapies to children, teenagers and young adults with complex disabilities and medical needs – as NDIS clients using Allowah Disability Support Services. We have a growing demand for delivery of NDIS supports within the community and at Allowah.
Our allied health team aims to include: physiotherapy, speech pathology, dietetics, occupational therapy and behavioural support.
