Keep Our Doors Open
We’re determined to keep Allowah going, for the children and families who depend on us.
Allowah has been caring for children with complex medical needs and disabilities for over 70 years.
Unfortunately, Allowah has had a rough couple of years financially due to COVID-19. We have had to close a number of the programs that financially support our core business due to government imposed restrictions on admissions and access, and in order to keep our very vulnerable children safe as they are particularly susceptible to respiratory illnesses. In 2021, we gratefully received a $200,000 grant from NSW Department of Communities and Justice, and $62,000 in 2022. But we need to build on that commitment.
In order to keep our doors open and start us on the road to recovery we need to raise $2 million to get us through 2022.
It’s a big ask, and it won’t be easy.
So we’re asking you to please donate, fundraise and share.
Fundraising is a great way to raise money and get other people involved! You could organise a fundraiser yourself, as part of your church, school or workplace.
We have a dedicated platform set up to host your fundraiser for Allowah. Simply create your profile and get started!
We are looking for businesses who have a BIG HEART for children with disabilities to become corporate sponsors and help secure our future.
Do you know an individual, organisation or foundation who may want to partner with us?
We need government to know that our situation is serious and time critical. The children at Allowah need a certain future.
Can you speak to government about the uncertainty we face?
